THE NEVADA STATE CABLE TELECOMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATION
The Nevada State Cable Telecommunications Association(NSCTA) was founded in 1982 to represent the interests of the cable telecommunications industry in Nevada. Membership is made up of system members and associate members. NSCTA system members serve over 500,000 customers in in Nevada.
NSCTA Responsibilities
- Engages in providing services, guidance, and direction to our members as well as being a clearing house for cable telecommunications related issues both at the state and national level.
- Represents members before our Congressional Delegation, our State Legislature and Local Municipalities, while encouraging state and Federal grass roots efforts.
- Serves as an industry advocate, spokesperson and resource to state agencies.
- Reinforces member participation involvement in the local, state and Federal political process to achieve the industry’s goals
- Sponsors an annual meeting/legislative dinner to bring together members, industry representative, local elected officials and State Legislators for a mutually beneficial dialogue about the issues confronting our day-to-day operations.
- Hold ourselves up to our CODE OF ETHICS to maintain the highest Professional standard.
